MAYS LANDING — Careme’s, Atlantic Cape Community College’s Academy of Culinary Arts student-run gourmet restaurant, has reopened for the Spring semester and is currently accepting reservations for dinner.

While not required, reservations are strongly encouraged and may be made between 6 - 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. For a detailed menu of dinner starters, main courses, desserts and drink options, visit atlanticcape.edu/caremesmenu. Complete dinners, including starter, main course and dessert are available for $25. Guests should contact Careme’s at (609) 343-4940 or email [email protected] to secure a table.

Named after 19th century “celebrity chef,” Marie-Antoine Careme, who has been referred to as “the chef of kings and the king of chefs,” Careme’s is run by the college’s Academy of Culinary Arts students, who are learning the ins-and-outs of the restaurant business. Funds that are collected from gratuities go toward supporting student scholarships.

Careme’s will also reopen for lunch, which will feature a per person $12.95 buffet complete with soup, salad, entree, rolls/butter and dessert, on Wednesday, March 1. Guests may make reservations between 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Careme’s will remain open for lunch and dinner until Monday, April 17.

Careme’s is located at Atlantic Cape’s Mays Landing campus at 5100 Black Horse Pike in the M Building and parking is available in lot 3.
