Welcome to the One-Stop Welcome Center at Atlantic Cape!

The One-Stop Welcome Center offers students a convenient and simple enrollment experience that is designed to eliminate barriers and improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Our staff members are here to assist students, both new and returning, with class registration, advising, counseling, testing, financial aid and paying for classes in the bursar’s office. Let our knowledgeable staff help you succeed along your path to earning a degree at Atlantic Cape today.

Hours of operation:

  • Mays Landing: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Atlantic City: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. & Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Cape May: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Closed Friday.

We are excited that you have chosen to start your educational journey with Atlantic Cape. Before you begin, we recommend that you have your unofficial high school/college transcripts submitted to [email protected] or in person for placement evaluation/non-course waivers. SAT and ACT scores are submitted to testing for evaluation.

All new and returning students are required to check-in to the One-Stop Welcome Center regardless of what student service(s) department they are seeking. When you arrive, check-in at our One-Stop Welcome Center Kiosks or click a button below for your preferred campus to join the queue.

Visit any of our three campus locations for in-person assistance with registration or complete online at any time through Atlantic Cape Connect.

Steps to Enroll

  • One-Stop Welcome CenterApply to Atlantic Cape
    Before you visit our new One-Stop Welcome Center in-person, we ask that you fill out your FREE application to Atlantic Cape. You can fill the application out at home or on your phone by visiting atlanticcape.edu/apply or you can use one of our self service kiosks at any of our three convenient campus locations. Atlantic Cape is an open enrollment institution so your acceptance is guaranteed. 
  • Meet your Atlantic Cape Student Services Specialist
    At Atlantic Cape, you will have one central point of contact help to guide you through the registration process and answer any questions you may have. If you don’t have your high school/college transcripts, SAT or ACT test scores we will ask you to take a placement test. You can’t fail our test – it’s simply a way for us to ensure that you are in the correct class level.     
  • Career & Academic Major Exploration
    Are you unsure what career path you want to pursue? It is not uncommon to be undecided when you are starting your journey. Our Student Services Navigators/Advisors will help you determine your career goals and help you decide on a academic major .
  • Apply for financial aid
    All Atlantic Cape students are highly encouraged to apply for financial aid. Applying is free and may save you a lot of money. You can save time by starting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov or we can assist you in this process. Be sure to use Atlantic Cape’s code 002596 when filling out the application, and also choose to use your data for the State of New Jersey. Financial aid determinations are based on many different criteria and mean you could qualify for federal and state aid,  grants, and you might even qualify for tuition-free college through  New Jersey's Community College Opportunity Grant (CCOG).
  • Plan out your classes and register
    Log-in to your Atlantic Cape Connect student portal to register for classes or visit any of our One-Stop Welcome Centers for in-person assistance or academic advising.
  • Payment
    You must make a payment, sign up for a payment plan or apply for financial aid to reserve your space in your classes. If necessary, your Student Services Specialist will help you process a payment through Atlantic Cape Connect student portal or direct you to the Bursar to make your payment in-person or set up a payment plan. Atlantic Cape accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and E-Check. Payment is due upon registration and payment plans are available for the fall & spring semesters.
